Navigating Conflict, Building Respectful Workplaces
Respectful workplaces aren’t free from conflict or tension. What sets them apart is that concerns are addressed, harmful behaviour is taken seriously, and people have the skills and support to work through challenges constructively.
Open Line helps organizations build respectful and inclusive cultures, address conflict early, navigate difficult conversations, and repair working relationships when things have gone wrong.
Preventing and Addressing Harassment
Compliance matters, but prevention starts with culture. Participants learn to recognize harassment, discrimination, bullying, and other harmful behaviour, understand their responsibilities, and know how to respond when they experience or witness it.
Recognizing and Responding to Microaggressions
Microaggressions can be subtle and unintended, but their impact is real. Participants learn how bias can show up in everyday interactions, how to respond when they experience or witness a microaggression, and how to respond when their own words or actions have had an unintended impact
Reslient Friction: Navigating Conflict Constructively
Healthy teams aren’t conflict-free. They know how to work through differences without losing trust, damaging relationships, or shutting down different perspectives. This program helps participants understand what’s driving a conflict, and how culture can shape people’s responses. They learn to recognize their own patterns and responses, move beyond blame and judgment, listen for what matters beneath the disagreement, and find a constructive way forward.
Difficult Conversations: Addressing What Matters
Managers often put off conversations about performance, expectations and behaviour, but avoidance usually makes the issue harder to address. This program gives leaders a practical framework and the chance to practise addressing issues early, listening for what matters, responding to emotion, and creating understanding, accountability and change.
